Questions
Is there an app to download?
Yes, and you install it straight from this website, with no app store. It works on iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac. When you sign up, we show you the exact steps for your device. Drivers sign in with a link and a PIN. If the signal drops, their taps are saved and sent when the phone is back online.
Do parents pay anything?
No. Mzansi Lift is free for parents. Only the operator pays, and only for children who ride.
Can I still use WhatsApp?
Of course. Most operators find the group goes quiet once parents can see ticks and changes on their own.
Is the children’s information safe?
Yes. Each operator’s information is kept completely separate, parents give consent when they add a child, and we follow POPIA.
